About the Mosque

Abubakr Mosque began in a small house on Villiers Road before moving to larger premises to meet the needs of Southall’s growing Muslim community.

After a successful bid for West End House on Southall Broadway, planning permission was granted in June 1999. The former office block has since been transformed through extensive refurbishment and extension works to serve as a mosque, community centre and school.

The mosque provides daily prayers, educational classes, community events and support services in a welcoming environment.
